ITS will maintain, monitor, and support agency wireless network services (Wi-Fi), including office and conference rooms. Services are available at agency locations statewide supporting a wide range of business and public use services.
ITS conducts wireless site surveys to enhance, maintain and expand wireless capabilities that support business requirements.
Service Includes
- Installation or the coordination of installations to the ITS wireless environment
- Site surveys to analyze and ensure adequate wireless coverage and capacity are available
- Site examples are available upon request
- Troubleshooting connectivity issues
Prerequisites
- Use ITS-approved and managed wireless devices, equipment, and services
- Agencies may be required to purchase additional equipment to support security requirements as needed and recommended by ITS
What Is Excluded
- Non-approved equipment and services
- Installations for hazardous locations (require third-party contractor installation)
Customer Responsibility
- Provide site access to ITS engineers to maintain equipment
- Fund annual operating licenses for the provided services
