Idaho DEQ

Switch to view old site

For DEQ, organization and ease of use was our focus, as we created a comprehensive navigation concept, and a unified way to display relevant links on each page. It was also important for them to be able to display past and future events in a very granular fashion according to category, so we created a robust custom shortcoding system for their events which respects parameters, tags, categories, and more, making this a flexible option for their needs. The new design is truly end-user friendly, as well as eye-catching and streamlined. During the information architecture audit, we identified more than 300 pages we could organize and classify differently (or drop), making this our most significant site cleanup to date.

Aging Website

Using bold colors, large text, and easier navigation, the new Idaho Commission on Aging site makes it easier for seniors and family members to find the resources they’re looking for. Make sure to try out the area map on the homepage.

DOF Website

With the Idaho Department of Finance (DOF), we reworked their forms and resources to be easier to find and use. Fully ADA compliant, mobile-optimized, and with a new mega menu, the new site design invites visitors.

SPD Website

SPD was a brand-new website for a newly established state agency, so we worked closely with the agency in order to establish a unified look and feel, and to flesh out the content. We created a custom map installation for them highlighting the districts in the state of Idaho, and worked behind the scenes to get the new site established with Google and other search engines in order to make sure that Idaho’s public could easily find the freshest agency in the state.

OGI Website

For OGI, we performed a full audit of their site’s content, paring down anything unnecessary, outdated, or redundant. We then reorganized the remainder into structured modules that make navigating the site a breeze. We helped OGI select custom images for their main sections, giving clear visual cues to visitors. We took our design cues from the client’s desire to have extra large, ultra-readable text and as always, built with accessibility at the front of our minds.

ISB Website

For the Idaho State Bar, we uncoupled their website from the Idaho Law Foundation and gave the ILF its own standalone website. We then streamlined their user experience to drive visitors to the correct channels, showcase their upcoming courses, events, and announcements, and organized their search function, menus and sidebars appropriately for easy navigation, making finding an attorney, a class, or any other information as simple as a click.

ILF Website

Having previously been tacked onto the Idaho State Bar website, we were excited to give the ILF not only a facelift, but its own place to live and room to stretch its legs. We made sure that their new site had its own look and feel, and showcased the announcements, programs, and events that are so important to serving Idaho’s public.

ITS Website

Switch to view old site

The Office of Information Technology Services (ITS) for the State of Idaho serves as a critical hub for ensuring that government agencies across the state have the technology, tools, and support they need to function efficiently. However, the old ITS website didn’t fully reflect the scope of its capabilities, or offer the user-friendly experience necessary for such a crucial resource. In collaboration with ITS, we undertook the task of reimagining their digital presence, transforming the site into a streamlined, accessible, and comprehensive platform. The result is a modern website that prioritizes usability and accessibility, showcases services, and enhances communication between ITS and state agencies.

ADM Website

The Department of Administration has so much information on it, and so many services that they offer, that we put user funnels at the forefront. We designed a menu and navigation system which helps people find what they’re looking for, organized logically. We analyzed their real onsite analytics to get a sense of what users were looking for and where they were faltering, and brought their most sought-after pages front and center where they belong. Their services menu, organized into five sections, is a thing of beauty! That, coupled with a streamlined, clean, and inviting design makes the new ADM website a pleasure to visit.

DHR Website

DHR desired an entirely new look and feel to set them apart from other state agencies, and we delivered! Their bold new look has definitely attracted the notice of their visitors. We additionally built in automated information feeds, a custom training course catalog, and programmed a specialized chatbot, there to answer any questions DHR’s visitors may have. We showcased their job openings, training, benefits, and state employee resources, putting the information we knew people were looking for right up front.
