Through the Office of Emergency Management (IOEM) and Military Division, the Idaho PIER team play a role in coordinating communications among its state communication professionals. PIER stands for Public Information Emergency Response.
The group had an opportunity to tour Gowen Field recently. The tour was informative with our hosts at the Idaho Military Division. Additionally, it was a good opportunity to interface directly with colleagues in person from across the state.
