Recently there was phishing campaign launched on multiple state, local, and county entities sent by a compromised user account in a supported state agency. Our expanded threat hunting capabilities were able to quickly identify and mitigate this malicious activity.
As a reminder, it is important to protect ourselves against phishing:
- Verify the sender is legitimate
- Only click on links that you know are safe
- Never provide your log on credentials to anyone
