Artificial Intelligence (AI) has been with us since 1935 when Alan Turing first described abstract computing. In the 1950s, Christoper Strachey and Arthur Samuel established that machines could use logic and learn from experience.
Today, we have large language models (LLMs) that operate on a scale and allows us to learn, think, and even train other machines. As we adopt these new technologies, we must consider the information and data that AI has access to.
We can do this by appropriately labeling our data and information. This process is known as “data classification,” which is a crucial step for us to complete before implementing AI within government systems.
