The Cybersecurity team would like to acknowledge Sergeant Anthony Toronto from the Idaho Army National Guard (IDARNG). Sgt. Toronto is an example of an individual that has found the opportunities within Idaho to grow in his cybersecurity career. Raised in Idaho, he’s been a member of the IDARNG for numerous years while also balancing being a student and studying Cybersecurity through the College of Western Idaho (CWI).
Through the various Readiness Training events ITS and IDARNG have organized, Sgt. Toronto has been front and center in multiple roles while gaining real-world experience. Whether helping image and prepare the laptops used during the exercises or participating as an operator to conduct the vulnerability assessments throughout the network environments, Sgt. Toronto’s drive reflects someone who wants to keep cyber talent in Idaho.
