DHW and ITS Early Partnership and Collaboration

It is not every day you see the DHW Service Desk Manager wearing an ITS polo, but that is the kind of camaraderie already forming between our teams.

With Phase 6 integration scheduled for June 2026, ITS onsite technicians are beginning the planning needed for a smooth and seamless transition. This work includes identifying supported sites, reviewing hardware and software in use, establishing key contacts, and documenting processes that keep operations running. These early steps will pave the way for technicians to begin on-site familiarization visits in the months ahead.

The planning covers every region of the state, including specialized facilities and the Central Office in Boise. This statewide approach ensures technicians will be ready to provide consistent and knowledgeable support wherever it is needed. Alongside this, ITS is also collaborating on support for DHW’s fleet vehicles to ensure that technology in the field is as reliable as technology in the office.

We are holding regular meetings, using dedicated communication channels for quick collaboration, and building a detailed knowledge base to ensure continuity in support. When Phase 6 arrives, technicians will be ready to provide effective and uninterrupted service from day one, helping DHW continue delivering critical services to Idaho communities without disruption.

This partnership shows that great integrations begin well before the go live date. And if the polo swap is any sign, we are already off to a great start.
