ITS and the Idaho State Historical Society (ISHS) have continued to prioritize cybersecurity and efficiency in their environments. With that in mind, ITS was invited to share their best practices about workplace cybersecurity recently for ISHS employees at their recent All Staff Meeting.
Privacy Manager Taylor Bothke, Threat Hunting Manager Brian Reed, and IRT Program Manager Samuel Montiel led the presentation “The Do’s and Don’ts of OneDrive and SharePoint.” It focused on a high-level understanding of differentiating between OneDrive and SharePoint as cloud storage and collaboration platforms, as well as managing risks, including credential theft, phishing, and malicious file sharing.
The topic of data classification was also presented as the State of Idaho continues to work to classify data within the various agencies for better security, sensitivity, and relevance.
